Jason has been taking photos for many years now, both analog and digital, and started sharing them with the world fairly recently.

Due to mindfulness in the pursuit, his output is relatively small. Nonetheless, at this point he has amassed a meaningful body of work.

In his photos generally he tries to capture that which cannot be captured, which is to say, the transcendent. He finds this much more of an intuitive than rational process.

Some of his photos have appeared in LensCulture Online, Feature Shoot, and the Ello homepage, and [update] F-Stop Magazine, The Brooklyn Review, The Montreal Review, The Cardiff Review, The Amsterdam Quarterly, The Museum of Americana, and The Ilanot Review.

When he is able to take advantage of all the copious time he has, he plans on making a dedicated photo website and two photography books: a collection of his favorite photos, and a series on a spooky kitschy strip mall of antiquated mannequins.
